...' permissions on the remote computer. Of course it asks for news' password. I seem to remember reading about this somewhere.... I'm running GNOME on this "Internet Appliance" computer, and don't have the KDE desktop package installed (I don't think) although... and not open source (but tons better). It pretty much is for me. I've left it on the computer in case there's anything I need...
