Update: Zi Pencils Text Input into Trolltech's Linux Greenphone
By James Alan Miller
"... Zi Corporation's eZiText predictive text technology and Decuma
handwriting recognition are now being integrated into Trolltech's
Linux-based smartphone, called Greenphone. Trolltech's bright green
smartphone is designed to encourage developers to create, test and modify
applications for its Qtopia Linux mobile platform. It won't become
available to consumers."

And from you, since you are restricting your statement to game
development, which isn't the only reason for putting Linux on a PS3.

I think you exaggerate the point - at least for most users. Then again,
even if it were exact other than the fact it was free there would be people
who would find a reason to not switch.

You might want to contact them, then. It sounds like they could benefit
from your expertise.

I was actually talking only about a single feature of VS,
"intellisense", which your brain would have clued you in on had you
ever actually used it.
By the way, I use VS a lot.

You know, I though I already knew a lot about vi, but I never knew about
the :ab (abbreviate) command.
For example, :ab ms Microshuck, and now I type "Microshuck" a ... oops,
now how the *hell* can I type a plain old two-letter Microshuck, aw
crap, try "Microshuck", .....
Dang.

Maybe. More likely, MS Office's integration with the operating system
is a lot tighter.
Try MS Office on Wine, for example.
Personally, although I'm not fond of bloat, I'll accept it for a free
application that works rather well, and greatly reduces my need to boot
to Windows.
