President and founder of DataSynapse, Jamie Bernardin, just published a
review of F# for Scientists on Amazon:

Looks like I've done it again. :-)

Congratulations on your first review! I think I read it somewhere,
perhaps on your blog even, that one of the main attractions of F#, as
opposed to most FPLs is the well-developed DLL market for .NET. Where
is that market? Is there an eBay for DLLs of sorts? IOW, if that was
you, [citation needed] please!

You can just write code and hit "compile to DLL" and sell the result, like
two of our products:

http://www.ffconsultancy.com/products/fsharp_for_visualization/?u
http://www.ffconsultancy.com/products/fsharp_for_numerics/?u

You can use PayPal for payment, Worldpay (as we do) or even E-Bay as you
suggest.

Our F# products do not make a lot of money (OCaml is still more lucrative
for us) but I believe that will change when F# is properly released.
