I always trust Aussies. They're more fun.

That's OK. If you're going to revere the opinions of a "former
Australian Army officer", I'm available for consultation. ;-)

As long as you agree that the invasion of Iraq was f*cking stupid. ;-)

Don't apologize, I got a kick out of it.

Last night, I finished Richard Clarke's book.
He explains the invasion as the result of an idee fixe,
and, rather politely, explains why it was counter-productive.
Clarke got into cyber security before leaving government
(on the grounds that he was demoted after being ignored
as a counter-terrorism advisor).

It stands for Other Working Group - Vulnerabilities.
It is an SC22 working group which addresses
application vulnerabilities causes by bugs.
It addresses bugs known to increase in frequency
with the use of certain programming language features,
or combination of features.

See http://www.aitcnet.org/isai/ for more.

The invasion of Iraq was not f*cking stupid. It was far worse than that.

Shooting oneself in the foot is f*cking stupid.
Shooting oneself in the gonads is really f*cking stupid.

The invasion of Iraq, frankly words fail to adequately describe.

And, like Hitler's it had a lot of little helpers,

"As democracy is perfected, the office of president represents, more and
more closely, the inner soul of the people. On some great and glorious
day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last
and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron."
