dear friends, can anybody give some good reference about optimization?
i know there was a book by M. Metcalf ..but its not available
anymore....anyother book/ online reference is there?

I once was in the innermost private room of an big American investment
bank, and saw the bookcased walls filled with something thay had
"bought for decoration" - 200+ signed copies of most SF authors I'd
ever heard of "from somebody's estate". AARGH!
