Sun Studio Express has been tested with OpenSolaris. It
does require the new packing system to be used when
installing on OpenSolaris.

I do too. As I said in my original posting, in this release
we added support for most of OpenMP 3.0. I hope that counts
as progress.

We have a lot left to do. The x86 port followed by the Linux
port took time that could have gone into work on Fortran 2003
features. Even today, we hear from people who would rather we
extend the number of platforms we support instead of working
on new features. MacOS, Windows, and the BSDs have all been
suggested. Just supporting the many flavors of Linux takes
a lot of effort.
