j3 mailing list

I can't post to the j3 mailing list, but there are a couple of articles
I'd like to respond to there. I hesitate to just post them here (though
their context is clear, some members may regard it as unfair to
publicize their internal machinations). I have no need to post
there the vast majority of the time. So I don't want to rock the
boat by requesting the privilege.

I can't imagine anyone seriously questioning the value that you would
provide to the process by having such access.

Umm... *you* don't want to rock the boat?? :o) (Yes, I'm having a good laugh, but I hope
you know I'm laughing with you, not at you)

Gary Scott is correct... and I doubt the j3 folks are that elitist (at least, I hope not).
Or (more sinisterly) are you afraid of eventually getting roped into something more
official? :o)

cheers,

A few years ago, anyone at all could send articles to their
mailing list. I never saw any signs of abuse nor any spam
on the list. Still, they changed the rules and restricted
participation in the list (turns out that my name *is* on
the list, but my ISP has changed it's addressing format).
The thing is, I don't want them closing down the list
even further.

Nice to know the rest of us aren't invited. I'm all for providing cloud
cover for decision-makers; I'm less about a priveleged few making
decisions for many without scrutiny.

IMO, an incredibly clumsy trolling attempt. I'm plonking 'em on sight.

BTW, also in DFW, Texas. :)
