Yes, interesting, but why are these people always so unimaginative to solve
problems like that? First of all, browsers should certainly be strict
first, and if they see problems, they should at least show a "buggy web
site" icon in the status bar, like Konqueror does - and go into "quirk
mode". It also should identify itself differently to web-pages, e.g. as
Firefox variant instead of IE. Microsoft did something like that in the
early days of IE, too, it identified IE as Mozilla.
Of course, the best thing Microsoft could do is to stop making its own
rendering engine in IE, and use WebKit or Gecko instead.
