Position Summary:


The JD Edwards and Data Collection Developer will design, implement, develop, and support technical solutions that address various business requirements. The position will utilize the toolset within JDEdwards as well as third party software such as DSI/DcLink as data collection middleware. Utilizing knowledge of information systems and data processing principles, as well as distribution and manufacturing business processes, the successful candidate will develop computing solutions that will aid in making business decisions. Additionally this person will require a thorough understanding of all interfaces in Oracle/J.D. Edwards One World Xe, including but not limited to manufacturing, inventory/materials management and finance.



Responsibilities:


1. Your key responsibilities will involve reviewing, analyzing, and modifying JDE programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and installing to support the organization's application systems.


2. Further Develop interface between JDE and DSI/DcLink data collection middleware to further expand the use of Barcode and data collection with TFBP.


3. You will also consult with users to identify current operating procedures and to clarify program objectives.


4. May be expected to write documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, and corrections and write manuals for users to describe installation and operating procedures.


5. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.



Experience and Skills Required:


At least 4 years of EnterpriseOne (JDE OneWorld) experience as a developer



Ability to utilize the JDE Enterprise One Development toolset such as Object Management Workbench, Form Design Aid, Report Design Aid, Event Rule Language, Data Structure, Business Functions



Experience in one or more of the following modules, Distribution & Logistics Manufacturing and Finance



Knowledge of JDE XE, SQL platform is a plus.



Knowledge of third party software such as Create!Form, DSI and EDI software is a plus



Strong verbal and written communication skills



Proficient in Microsoft Office products



Education:


This position requires that the candidate have a BA/BS degree in Information Systems Management or Computer Sciences or equivalent work experience plus 3-5 years in a professional business or IS department environment. MBA a plus. 3+ years design experience preferably in CRM, ERP or a related field.
