Position Description: Programmer Analyst As a senior developer, you will provide day to day technical support to the development team on a variety of corporate projects. This role will assist development team with building and enhancing applications related to reinsurance. You will be responsible for delivery of key deliverables through the project life cycle from requirements, design and implementation.

Job responsibilities include:

* Gather and analyze requirements * Research ideas and new technologies to support requirements * Implement prototypes based on functional specifications * Create and enhance PowerBuilder, JAVA and web-based applications * Write new and modify Informix stored procedures * Produce user guide and system documentation * Work together with other developers and network group to deploy reliable applications

Required skills:

* Having 2+ years experience working with PowerBuilder * Experience with Informix database * Experience with JAVA, HTML, Javascript and JSP * Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills * Relational Database, SQL, PowerBuilder, Java, JSP, Javascript, DHTML, Unix scripting

Candidate must be a team player and able to work effectively with limited supervision. Must be able to multitask in a timely and efficient manner. Has initiative in learning new technologies. Experience with .NET technology and Microsoft SharePoint is a plus.
