General Information About the Position: The Lead Developer/System Architect: * Architects, designs and develops robust, efficient mid-sized, but complex, Trading and Analysis applications, including efficient use of messaging and APIs. * Is an expert at implementation of large, complex vendor systems. * Is comfortable working in a multitasking environment with demanding users who expect everything to be delivered yesterday . * Has the ability to manage and juggle multiple projects. * Possesses excellent formal Project and Risk Management skills. * Interacts with Business Users to gather/analyze requirements. * Provides technology direction to the organization. * Adopts new technologies as applicable. * Supervises other very sharp and experienced Developers; provides them with solutions to complex technical problems. * Has a strong sense of urgency and priority-setting. Requirements: Required Skills for this Lead Developer/System Architect position include the following: Business: * Experience in Financial industry and working knowledge in the Financial domain isrequired. * Excellent knowledge of Securities and Financial instruments (i.e. Equities, Fixed Income, Bank Debt and Derivatives), and expertise with Security Master Systems area plus. * Knowledge of the following isa plus: * Securities Operations * Clearance * Accounting Functions * Knowledge of the following isa plus: * Common Securities Valuation * Risk * Quantitative and Statistical Calculations * Excellent verbal/written communication skills arerequired. Technical Expertise: * Comprehensive expertise of .NET 2.0 is required.
