sorry to be a noob.
some of my users have
view->show->page source
yet I dont (as asministrator)
I cant figure out why it appears to be so random, is it a a question
of what server they are on, an option or what.
We are all running ntoes 7.0.2 soon to be 8

It's probably because the message is not in MIME format. (ie, it's in
Notes format). If the message came from the internet, it has been converted.
Check your person document to see if your person doc specifies to leave
the message in the senders format or convert to notes rich text for
incoming internet messages.

Have you looked at Notes 8?
Sounds more like you are angry becuase you don't know how Notes work.
Perhaps you should take some classes in administration or whatever part of
Notes you are involved in? That would give you a better understanding of teh
product.
Perhaps even try to get your company to send you to Lotusphere in Orlando in
January, you will learn plenty there!

Sorry, was working on some stuff while I wrote the text. I was going to look
up the numbers, but forgot...
The supporting database is about 3 GB, with about 1.5 million documents.
Those documents are smaller.
Images are stored on a separate FTP server, and retrieved and stored using
FTP (another standard!).
