Help!

I have a trial version of domino server / administrator / notes that I
need to install to install test and document a SF.com plugin on. The
problem is I cant get past installing the domino server. The server
itself is incredibly easy to install.

It's now I've got to trying to actually access the server from domino
administrator. The program itself just doesnt make any sense. It has
taken my user ID to be my "real name/real name" and my server to be
local. (where i set this i dont know....) and now I have set up what I
think is a connection to my server it says the cross server
certificates or some bollocks doesn't match! But I havent set up any
servers, let alone certificates, and all I want to do is connect and
administer my server!

Please help, this is driving me mental. How can I just plain and
simple connect to the server I have just set up using administrator?
why the hell can domino just use a simple plain old enter server name
and port?

Ic

< to do is connect and
administer my server!>>

It seems to me that the answer is contained in the question.
What exactly do you think you're going to do, trying to access a server
that's never been set up ?
