When you say her ID was lost, what do you mean exactly? Is there no
way this ID can be recovered? Given the problem started when the old
ID was used it seems likely it's at fault. Had anything about her ID
changed from old and new version? Has their been any change of name,
OU, public key etc? This type of problem I find is all too common
because users demand name changes without understanding of the vital
importance that a backup of their changed file is retained. If the
unread marks have been reset that suggests Notes thinks it's a
different user and has maintained the unread marks for each seperate
user.
