Hi,

Trying to write an agent that will product a report showing the last
modified dates of a all file attachments in a Lotus Notes database.
Having problems obtaining this information from the NotesEmbeddedObject
class.

Can this be done?

I have a user who cannot use iNotes because when he replies to or creates a
new message, there is a red x in the corner of the message body area, and he
cannot enter any text.

He has IE 6 and he has no pop-up blockers

I want to redirect desktop6 to c:\temp
when Im try this, the desktop6.ndk is created in the data dir of the
user. If I start notes a secod time I have a message saying "Unable to
load workspace file ... file already exists. "
So it doesnt create the file in the correct directory. If I need to
delete the file each time Notes open it is ok, but i want the file to
be redirected. I got notes 6.5.2 and tested in notes 7.0.2 and got the
same results. Does someone have already troobleshoot this problem with
an good end?

I'm trying to set up Notes for my personal email account. Here at work
we use Exchange/Outlook, which I use for work, but instead of going to
the internet to work with my personal email account I am trying to use
Lotus Notes.

I run the wizard to setup the POP account and everything seems to go
smoothly, until I try to open Mail. At this point I get "File does not
exist" and yet the (local) file does exist. So I'm thinking that it
has to do with the Internet settings, which I've gone over several
times and all seems to be fine.

Another thing, when I go to the Replicator view the only option I have
is to send email and not receive, which again makes me think that Notes
doesn't like my POP or SMTP settings.

Any ideas?? -

I think that function came in 6.0 or perhaps 7.0, that you can see what
folder a document lives in...

FYI, we are also still running R5 as $WORKPLACE, so I feel your pain. :-)

In Notes 7.0 you can see the unread count for the folders, the same way as
for example in Outlook. Notes 7.0 was released in August 2005. Current
version is 7.0.2, by the way.

One of my users are complaining(confirmed) that when he opens the create
attachment dialog, the fileorder is reversed alphabeticaly.
Anyone with a idea of how get it back to default sort order ?

them by pop3 protocol. I don't use domino server. When I send mail and
someone receive it, in 'From:' there is my e-mail adress. I would like to,
there will be my name. How to configure it?

A couple of weeks ago all my email starting showing up black instead of
red and my Inbox doesn't show a number with the number of new emails
received e.g. Inbox (3). Any thoughts? Thanks.
