Just wanted to introduce (to this newsgroup) Webiplex's DocuPeak. We
are an *integrated* document management (IDM) provider. Our software
does document processing (e.g. OCR/ERM process workflows) for intense
applications with a 100%% focus on integration with existing line of
business applications. Our repository is multi-tenant designed to
handle billions of documents, not just a single company's data.

We are not a "collaboration" portal or a stand alone Web site propped
up that barely does more than backup your files. We would recommend
SharePoint or one of the 1000+ other systems for that. If your line
of business systems are handling your business needs, and you just
need robust document processing linked in, then we're your answer.

We have had much success lately "converting" customers from legacy
EDMS vendors to our system - seams nobody wants to reinvest in more
legacy. Let us know what you have and we probably have a conversion
for it already.

We are considering investing in Hummingbird eDocs as our Document
Management System. The functionality looks good, but it does not meet
our infrastructure requirements.

We have two geographically located offices (London and Dubai). We
would like to implement a full Disaster Recovery and High Availability
solution based on the following requirements:

Both locations should have an exact copy of the SQLServer2005 data
(used by the DM server) and the documents stored in the content
repository (SAN). The replication should be as close to real-time as
possible.

This will allow users in both locations to work on local copies of the
documents, and any changes to either side are replicated to the remote
location. In essence, this is an ACTIVE ACTIVE setup, opposed to an
ACTIVE PASSIVE.

personal document management product called Benubird. Our goal with
Benubird is pretty simple -- to provide users with a personal document

I was hoping someone may be able to help me with a docushare web
interface customization I am trying to do.

What we would like is add another link on the navbar for certain
collections…
Our collection structure is such that we have an “active projects”
collection that contains “project” collections. The project
collections contain multiple levels of sub-folders. Often, the user
is so deep in sub-folders that the bread crumbs become un-usable and
they cannot see the top level project collection.

We would like a new link to be added on the navbar so that whenever
the user is in a “project” collection, they have a link to the top-
level collection for that project.

I see where this needs to be done in dslib.vdf but I have been un-able
to implement it. I tried parsing through the breadcrumbs string with
some javascript code but encountered parse errors (I believe because
the breadcrumbs contain so many “” and ‘’ characters). I am hoping
someone may know of another way!
