Is there a possibility that the automatic save deactivates itself ? is it a
known bug?
I noticed that fact several times but not totally sure of it. So i ask.

hello everybody.
i never used this google service, so i hope im in the right place.
i have a big problem !
i have a new laptop and i tried to install autocad 2008.
at the begining i had a problem of "support\msxml\msxml6.msi" -
something like this.
i searched some forums and tried to do something that partly worked.
i manage to install thr autocad, but now after it installed, when i
try to launch the program,
i get error messege that says :
The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0150002). Click on
OK to terminate the application
i tried to install a lot of msxml stuff and visual studio stuff and
etc' by the help of the
forums, but nothing work !!!

I’m currently trying to help my girlfriend’s younger sister with a
school homework in AutoCad, they are using AutoCad 2008. I’m not very
experienced in AutoCad, I only have basic skills so we’re in a bit of
trouble.

Our problem is that the printed drawing is supposed to have a frame/
border around it with a symmetric margin, e.g. 10 mm. Our approach has
been to draw a rectangle in paper-space but to get it to look right on
paper we have resorted to a trial-and-error approach, i.e. draw a
rectangle, print, measure and repeat and obviously there is probably a
better way to do this.

So, my basically my question is, how do I create a symmetric border in
paper-space for a drawing so that it’s symmetric when the drawing is
printed, with a given margin of e.g. 10 mm?

Any help would be most appreciated.

Autocad 2008

For the last few months, my Acad File Open Dialog box listing of DWG
files (Ctrl+O) does not list (arrange) the files By Name as it always has...

So when I first Start Autocad and then go to Open a file, the files are
listed By Name but _Backwards_. So top to bottom is first via Z to A
then Folders...

Once I Arrange By Name... all is OK until I close Autocad and start the
next time...

Very Frustrating... And I don't know WHY it is doing this. My WinXP Pro
file listing is OK and by Name...

I've tried to see if there is anything in the Registry... But I can't
locate any setting I can adjust.

Anyone with any thoughts or Info on how to resolve this?

at the moment I divide the spline in 10 segments and I measure one of the
segment
