Hello Everyone, I have about 8 years of experience in hardware and
software development. I'm ready to move on to the next level of my
career but I would like to do that at some type of energy management
or green power job and make a difference in the world. This is has
always been an area of interest for me but I'm not sure who I should
be asking or where I should be looking. Can someone point me in the
right direction? I am currently living in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Thanks.

Hi:
I run TI's CCS v. 3.3 on Windoze XP in VMware on Linux. I have
installed WinXP in a new VM with a bigger virtual disk, along with a new
CCS install. I don't want to spend an hour resetting all my editor
options, etc., so I just want to copy the CCS config. data from the old
WinXP to the new one.
Does anyone know where in the Windows' ridiculous file structure CCS
stores the configuration settings chosen by the user?
I went through a similar ordeal with AutoCAD, where AutoCAD showed in a
dialog a path where it stored a config file, but didn't have the option
to load it. The same path in Windows Explorer didn't exist. I couldn't
believe my eyes, nor do I understand how anybody can use this OS. On
Linux it would take me a moment to find a config file.
Thanks.

Good day!

Hi there - we are working on a single board computer and having some
strange issues. The single board computer is a very strange form
factor (not any of the PC-104 variants or anything like that), and we
have it installed on a board that we built many years ago (and the
person who built it is not around). This board has a mini-PCI slot as
well as an FPGA that talks to the CPU over PCI. We are trying to
upgrade from an older version of this SBC to a newer version. The CPUs
are supposedly pin for pin compatible - but the new one refuses to
boot from our board. We found, however, that if you remove the mini-
PCI card it will boot without any troubles.
Strange, right?
Now I must admit I'm not very experienced with PCI. Everything I know
about it I've learned over the last couple days trying to figure out
what is going on with this problem. Anyways - the IDSEL pins on...

If you are trying to call Matlab on a desktop from a C program you can
use the Matlab Engine to do so.
If you want to include Matlab functions in generated code for
compiling and embedding in an application, you would need to use the
Matlab compiler.
