Description
POSITION PURPOSE
Under general supervision, the Business Intelligence (BI) System
Architect will be responsible for leading the definition, design,
development and implementation of business intelligence. The objective
for this initiative is to align business intelligence solutions with
the strategic data analytics roadmap and emerging industry trends. The
data to support this BI solution has a variety of sources including
the corporate financial and HR ERP system. Additional responsibilities
include; evaluating and recommending all components of a BI tool set.
Preferred candidates should have a proven track record of architecting
and developing large scale data warehouse applications. Candidates
will also need to possess a strong background with data warehousing
and reporting architectures, dimensional modeling, and ETL knowledge
in order to be successful. The candidate will be interacting with all
levels of the organization and would therefore, need to possess strong
analytical and planning skills and excellent written and presentation
skills.
