We walked through acres upon acres of salvaged vehicles--over a
century of public transit, ranging from an enclosed horse-drawn
carriage to the most powerfu steam and diesel-electric locomotives
ever built. For 12 bucks, this was easily coolest local tourist type
thing I have done in a while. I heartily recommend this product and/
or service.
The best part of our visit to this museum was riding in the old CTA
electric bus, with all the original Seventies posters still lining the
ceiling. That was a blast from my past for me, as my father drove one
of those beasts back when I was a kid.
