If West Nile virus cases spike this year, it'll be on YOUR heads for
banning pesticides in some jurisdictions in Canada. If the number of
people dying increases, you could find yourself in a WORLD of trouble.

Both Harper & Bush spoke on the phone today and congratulated each other
on the successful US bombing of a wedding in Afghanistan killing a whole
bunch of people including at least 10 women and 10 children.
"We'll show those pagans who the terrorists really are. " Bush said, as
Harper laughed out loud. Harper later tried to make sure Bush didn't
forget Canada's help there, "Hey George! The US is not the only country
to send oil nazis to Afghanistan remember. I know you divided the Iraqi
oil up between 6 US oil companies wih no-bid contracts because Canada
didn't go to Iraq, but we should get something from the Afghanistan
pipeline, Right?"
Unfortunately Bush had already hung up?

how come no Muslim has ever been elected in
Australia , law of averages would indicate that as a nation of
immigrants in a world that is 25%% Muslim we should have had a few
Muslims in a secular democracy
Even Iran has a Jews and Christians in their parliament
100 years ago

as well as today ,
Iran remains a model more tolerant than Australian politics with
regard to minorities representation in politics
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Majlis_of_Iran
Currently, the Majlis' 290 members, five of whom represent non-Muslim
religious minorities, are popularly elected for four-year terms

A firefighter the Santa Ynez Mountains near Goleta, California, one of
the two major blazes threatening population centres
Image :1 of 3
Times Online
Firefighters battling hundreds of blazes in California fear that a
heatwave forecast for next week could hinder efforts to control fires
that threaten the tourist haven of Big Sur and the picturesque town of
Santa Barbara.
Officials hope that a brief lull in conditions today will help them
tackle the statewide fires that began two weeks ago and have since
destroyed 526,707 acres, forcing the deployment of 20,260 personnel,
1,641 engines and 118 helicopters.
Arnold Schwarzenegger, the Governor of California, toured the command
centre in Santa Barbara yesterday and spoke of a shift in the type of
crisis being faced by the state.
“Something is happening, clearly. There’s more need for resources than
every before,” he said. “It’s fire season all year round. It’s a
different ballgame."

... in any case and this is the GOOD NEWS , the DDD ( Divine Drudging

contribution to the overall disastrous situation is quite hopeful of
still better development in application of the Collective Chastiment

Not inviting 2 kids because they're little assholes is not discrimination.

Birthday party snub sparks debate
An eight-year-old boy has sparked an unlikely outcry in Sweden after failing
to invite two of his classmates to his birthday party.
The boy's school says he has violated the children's rights and has
complained to the Swedish Parliament.
The school, in Lund, southern Sweden, argues that if invitations are handed
out on school premises then it must ensure there is no discrimination.
The boy's father has lodged a complaint with the parliamentary ombudsman.
He says the two children were left out because one did not invite his son to
his own party and he had fallen out with the other one.
The boy handed out his birthday invitations during class-time and when the
teacher spotted that two children had not received one the invitations were
confiscated.
"My son has taken it pretty hard," the boy's father told the newspaper
Sydsvenskan.

ADHD drug linked to suicide attempts: Health Canada
CBC News | July 3, 2008
A drug commonly used to treat attention-deficit hyperactivity (ADHD)
disorder in children, teens and adults has been linked to numerous adverse
reactions, including suicide attempts, Health Canada has warned.
In its adverse reactions newsletter from July 2008, the health agency warns
that Atomoxetine (Strattera), a selective norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor,
had been linked to 189 reported adverse reactions as of Dec. 31, 2007.
Fifty-five of those included suicide attempts, a designation that
encompasses non-accidental overdoses, showing suicidal tendencies and
experiencing thoughts of self-harm. Twenty-nine of the patients recovered,
three had not by Dec. 31, 2007, and one patient died. Data was not available
for the remaining 22 patients.

A number of people received phone calls the morning of September 11, 2001
that they believed were made by individuals on board the planes that crashed
in New York, Washington, and Pennsylvania. Descriptions of these calls,
however, reveal something odd. According to the official story we have been
told, the callers were in an unprecedented crisis, stuck on planes under the
control of murderous terrorists, and with no knowledge of whether they were
going to be allowed to live or die. Yet in many of the phone calls, the
caller appears to have been remarkably calm. Perhaps if just a few of
them
