ODBC and level 7 Paradox tables

I'm afraid to ask (I suspect the answer is either "No"
or "Yes - for a price"), but is there actually any kind
of ODBC access to level 7 Paradox tables?

Microsoft had an ODBC driver for Paradox tables at one time. I do not
know if it is still available. IIRC it provided read only access
without the BDE and read/write access with the BDE.

was that only for level 5 tables? or was it just the old Access driver that
expected level 5 tables?

Good question. I do not remember if the MS driver supported level 7 or
not.

Thanks - AFAIK, Microsoft's driver is for level 5 and below. I did try
to test it on some level 7 tables. It managed to open one table after
about 15 minutes of trying; I had to kill Delphi when I used the driver
to open a second table.

Marc

There is an Intersolv ODBC driver that can handle level 7 tables.
