Please be careful using any junk/spam buttons that your email service
may have, Hotmail in particular but it may also apply to other services
like MSN. Don't hit it by accident when you are trying to delete
unwanted posts from Blues-L, use the delete button instead. What happens
is that Hotmail sends a report to Netspace.org every time that happens
and their servers automatically assume all mail coming from the listserv
is spam after the button is hit a certain number of times.
Netspace.org is canceling the membership of anyone who hits the spam
button too many times (based on the error reports they get) so that it
doesn't cause the problem we had a couple of weeks back where all email
from Netspace.org was blocked by Hotmail/MSN.

I'm so glad you were able to see them! Amazing huh?
Jake and Elwood Mannequins completely dressed, with face masks,,just hanging
out amidst the debris.
Crazy.
Thanks for letting me know - I receive one note from someone that those were
not the images... so I hope they are not shuffling them.

An excerpt
"Leading R&B drummer Earl Palmer dies at 84
LOS ANGELES (Reuters) – Leading R&B drummer Earl Palmer, best known for his
New Orleans recording sessions with the likes of Fats Domino and Little
Richard, died on Friday at his home in Los Angeles at age 84, his family said.
Palmer, who died after a lengthy illness, played on hundreds of hits during
a career that ran from the 1940s through the 1970s and earned him an
induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
..."
I only had the pleasure of seeing him be an MC at the Ponderosa Stomp the
last year it was at the Rock'n'Bowl, but I have heard so many of the
recordings he played on. A Giant is no longer with us.
