No. I have a problem with the enormous incentive an income tax gives
special interests to bribe politicians to get their cause tax reduced
or exempt. With a sales tax there are no causes, you want to possess
something, you pay a tax...period. Hell, we could probably balance
the federal budget tomorrow if we could just get religious
organizations to contribute their fair share.
