Why would he? You just told us The Maryland Division of Parole and
Probation has already told him not to. Once a lawyer represents a
client, he's not required to follow his case for the rest of his life.

p.s. I know we've tried to tell you this before to no avail, but even
GUILTY people are permitted to have a lawyer. It's not a crime to defend
a guilty person.
