To dive Dunsborough you would have passed within 1/2km of my place! I'm
just off the highway out of Bunbury on the way to Busso.
Glad you liked the jetty - it's one of my favourites also, particularly
night dives.
As for Rotto, apart from the May dive on the way to Jurien, I haven't been
there in the years since I moved south. However, I haunted the place for
years when I was in Uni Underwater and it's one of the things I do miss
about Perth (though not the traffic)
I'd guess the fish would have been Buff Bream - they're everywhere around
the island and Perth coastal waters and they do that circling thing
constantly.
Good to hear you had a great time. You can stick the cold water, though -
my wife and I are off to Bali after I come back from a little Exmouth foray
in a fortnight.
