Thats about right I also got 28m at my deepest point, also did a second dive
sticking to the middle section that was about 18m. I've got in my log people
that there were people snorkeling at the shallow end that was only in 3-4m.
Have you dived the Wall at the other end?

Bugger of things Trigger Fish I got attacked in the mask by one while
snorkelling in the lagoon at Lady Elliot Is with the kids. My eldest tried
to push one away that was having a go at her and it took a chunk out of her
finger right on the tip so there was blood everywhere. Iirc these where
black triggerfish, always thought of them as a glorified leatherjacket but
have more respect for them now.
