I must confess to buying one of those shirts, except that it was for the World
Supers in 2003. I usually buy a stubby holder and a cap to "commerate" the
event.

Imagine my dismay when I walked into a local plumbing store to see them all
wearing the same t-shirt, except that they have the plumbing company's logo on
it....

I didn't ask how much they paid for them...

As for the bogan comment, I s'pose this also appeals to the demographic that
they are aiming at when they talk about "battle groups"...

I think that the Super Tourer supporters were right - V8s are for the large
unwashed.

Thanks for stating the obvious.

Perhaps I should rephrase my question.

Why does Seven had Holden v Ford stats on the screen when talking about relative
race positions but display either Ford v Ford or Holden v Holden, or Ford v
Holden or Holden v Ford as they go down the list, particuarly from around 12th
downwards where there were a number of Holdens with no Fords in the mix?

  What Happened To Dean Ovens

I remember every week on Speedweak the name Dean Ovens was always read out
as a starter in I think mostly production racing.
Does anyone know what happened to him or is it just a case that Speedweak
never show any of the classes he competes in.
