  Yawn- we beat Bangladesh

Author: Cicero
Date: Sep 6, 2008 00:18

Apart from Zimbabwe, there is no country playing so badly as Bangladesh at
the moment. I hoped for a lot from them three years ago. Sadly it hasn't
happened.

And I don't think Australia has been that impressive.

Rodney,

Can you email me with your address? I have a few more books to offload.
Nothing very interesting I am afraid.

  Symond's axing...

Author: Maxx

....and possible exclusion from the squad to tour India... Does anyone
think this might Australia's way of solving the perplexing situation
that's created with Hayden's return? With Katich and Jaques doing
well in the Windies, it'd be tough drop one of them. With Symonds
gone, Katich moves down to six - problem solved. Both him and Pup can
bowl some decent part-time spin too of course, to negate missing
Symonds' bowling.

  What's The Go With Symonds?

Author: Cicero
Date: Aug 31, 2008 07:16

For his stature within the team- now a respected player- his behaviour seems
odd.

I am not sure how the system works, but if Australia tore up his contract
could he then play in the IPL whenever he chose? (if he can't now).

He always has been a bit cavalier with his approach but this has me baffled.

  Don Bradman's 100th birthday.

Author: Noddy

This week the media were noting that it's 100 years since the birth of
Don Bradman. What exactly is the significance of '100' years for The
Don?

Surely we should be celebrating 99.93 years from his birthday.

Regards,
Noddy
