The Star Trek Experience - Las Vegas

Hi Guys,

I'm from Perth, and just went to the USA for holidays for the month of July
(just returned).

I went to Las Vegas to see the Star trek Experience. It was great. I
highly recommend you go see it if you are a trek fan. theres enough to do
there to easily spend a whole day there. I saw the Klingon Invasion, the
Borg Invasion, the Trek history museum with lots of authentic movie props
and artifacts, ate at the restaurant (I had the flaming rack of Targ). Got
my photo taken on the TNG bridge in the captains chair, and another photo in
a Borg alcove. There were lots of aliens walking around and they are "in
character" and they know their trek history too. Also did the backstage
tour (I recommend you do it last so you dont see any spoilers).

Anyone else gone? Whats your thoughts?

Cheers,
PW

For the complete package for 3 of us it was about $250, so be prepared to
pay around $80 per person.

However, that did include the 'Klingon Encounter' ride, the 'Borg Invasion'
ride, the 'backstage tour', photos on the Enterprise bridge, photos of us in
the Borg alcove regenerating ... and it was for 3 people (me, wife and
daughter).

And that didn't include anything from the promenade or Quarks bar.

And then we raided the souvenier shop and had dinner at Quarks, so it
probably cost me $500 USD by the time we got out of there.

And I have no regrets, had a great time, loved the food, loved the rides,
and I have some great souvenirs and photos.

Do yourself a favour, if you go on the backstage tour, do it last. We did
it before we went on the klingon invasion and it spoiled some bits.

Have a blast !! :-)
