  Belief in God

Author: Nawaz

Hi Folks

A finite thing cannot grasp an infinite object. However,we know Supreme
being through his attributes given in the Quran.Accordingly, belief in
Allah Almighty means to accept the sovereignty of One Whose attributes
are described in the Quran. The concept of a supreme authority exists
amongst people all over the world, even amongst the most primitive
tribes; and all of them bow down to it, although the picture of that
authority is different in the minds of people belonging to different
tribes and different religions, Yahawa of Jews, Father of Christians,
Ishwar or Paremeshwar of Hindus and Yazdan of Zoroastrians. All bear a
different concept but on the other hand Allah Almighty described in
the Quranis different from all of them.

"A Vision of Submission and Love"

Author: Elder(:)Child
Date: Sep 19, 2008 09:50

I had been in search of what i then called the "church" for a number
of years prior to my receiving the vision that i will now share with
you. In that "search" i heard many preach and speak of the need for
"husbands to love their wives".

Ephesians 5:25 was the prime reference for such preaching. "Husbands,
love your wives, even as The Messiah also loved the ecclesia, and gave
Himself for it."

"Love" is not a husband and wife sharing their natural affection for
one another, which is referred to as "coming together again" in 1
Corinthians7:5.

And Eph 5:25 was preached and preached, again and again, and i
wondered, "why is it that Ephesians 5:25 was recorded after and not
before 5:22", and "why is it no one preaches a message concerning
those verses just prior to Ephesians 5:25"?

Devotional Guide For the week of September 14, 2008

GOD WILL PROVIDE

About all we need

To read the Bible in one year, today read Isaiah 34-36

To Know:

³The Lord has mingled within her a spirit of confusion; and they have made
Egypt stagger in all her doings as a drunken man staggers in his vomit. And
there will be nothing for Egypt which head or tail, palm branch or reed, may
do.² (Is.19: 14,15)

Is all of God, or is there a force in the universe able to thwart the will
of God? That was the question at the heart of the book of Isaiah. Was
Israel¹s God really God or did the nation need help from Egypt to defeat
their enemies? In Isaiah 19 God tells his people what he thinks of the
strength of Egypt. Not much. Egypt will tremble at the approach of the Lord.
God, not Egypt, is Israel¹s hope. It is no less true for us today. The Lord
is our hope. He is sufficient. He is all we will ever need. This is the
great lesson that life is designed to teach. This is why we walk by faith
and not by sight.

GOD WILL PROVIDE

About slip-ups

To read the Bible in one year, today read Isaiah 31-33

To Know:

³But when the time had fully come, God sent forth his Son, born of woman,
born under the law, to redeem those who were under the lawв (Gal. 4:4,5)

³Oops² is not in the vocabulary of heaven. This is a word that follows a
slip of the tongue or when things go unexpectedly wrong. There are no
slipups with God.

Jesus was born at exactly the right time. Rome was a highly organized
empire. Unknowingly, Rome organized the world for the coming of Christ. The
Caesars connected the empire with roads. The saying was...

GOD WILL PROVIDE

About needs met

To read the Bible in one year, today read Isaiah 22-24

To Know:

³So Abraham called the name of that place The Lord will provide; as it is
said to this day, ŒOn the mount of the Lord it shall be provided.¹² (Gen.
22:14)

Throughout most of the 19th century, George Mueller of Bristol cared for
thousands of orphans and gave away millions of pounds sterling to make
Christ known. Mueller made a pact with the Lord never to tell anyone the
nature and extent of his need until after the Lord had met it. This practice
was a strategy to display to the watching world the faithfulness of God.
Mueller¹s biography is a record of miraculous provision.

Evolution in 'the soup' before life

[begin quote]

Did evolution come before life?

* 08:00 15 September 2008
* NewScientist.com news service
* Bob Holmes

A rudimentary form of natural selection likely existed in the
primordial soup even before life arose on Earth. If so, the complex
"ecosystem" of prebiotic molecules may have made the eventual arrival
of life much more probable.

Most experts presume that life arose from complex molecules such as
nucleic acids and proteins, which were assembled from a mix of simpler
units strung together with chemical bonds.

To examine how this might occur, Martin Nowak and Hisashi Ohtsuki,
mathematical biologists at Harvard University, used simple equations
to model the growth of such chains of building-blocks.

Church of England to apologise to Charles Darwin for villifying him

Author: misanthropic_curmudgeon

Hey, if the Church of England can get a clue after 150-odd years,
maybe there is hope for Gladys, Gabriel, et al. too?

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1055597/Church-makes--8216-ludicrous-8217...

"The Church of England will tomorrow officially apologise to Charles
Darwin for misunderstanding his theory of evolution [snip] The
officials said that senior bishops wanted to atone for the
vilification their predecessors heaped on Darwin in the 1860s [snip]
"the Church of England owes you an apology for misunderstanding you
and, by getting our first reaction wrong, encouraging others to
misunderstand you still." "

"Let There Be Light"

"In The Beginning" The Creator(Our Father) said,
"Let There Be Light, and There Was Light"

"LIGHT Begets Light!"
"The Beginning of The Creation of GOD!"

And the revelation that The Messiah received of
The Creator and gave unto the apostle John bore
witness to The Truth that The Messiah, was
"The Beginning of the Creation of GOD(Our
Father, Creator of ALL)"! (Rev 1:1, 3:14)

And The Messiah bore witness to His Brethren
when He testified, "My GOD is your GOD and My

What to keep an eye on

Devotional Guide For the week of September 7, 2008

A CLOSE CALL

What to keep an eye on

To read the Bible in one year, today read Isaiah 13-15

To Know:

³Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us
also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run
with perseverance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus the
pioneer and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him
endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of
the throne of God.² (Heb12: 1,2)

Feelings of awe and angst fought in our children as they watched the
tightrope walker traverse the top of the old Boston Garden. They thought,
how do these performers dare to do this? How do they keep their balance
being so far from the floor and close to the roof?

The secret to walking a high wire is what you choose to look at. Looking at
the wire will ensure eventual doom. Finding a fixed point beyond the wire
and staring it down all the way to the end of the walk will ensure arrival.
