Hi, looking for a source of tips for the old scope soldering iron,
(the larger model) tried all the usual suspects, Jaycar etc.,with no
luck :^(

They would not seem hard to make. Thread a copper rod, and file the
other end to a point. Pity they seem to have dropped out of supply,
as the scope was a great machine.

thnx Peter, since making the post, i`ve been referred to a mob
called Willtronics. they have all parts for the later (orange handled
irons) ihave the earlier black handle ones, both superscope and
miniscope....tips are cheap as chips, and will hopefully be same size,
.25w thread.....cheers John.
