Let's compare D700 12.1mp ($3300 CAD) vs. 5D 12.8mp ($2300 CAD) (5D mk.II is
likely 16.7mp retail is likely $2800 CAD) hmmm no clear victory!
D3 12.1mp ($5300CAD) vs. Canon 1Ds mk.III 21.1mp ($7800CAD) hmm 74%% higher
resolution, for 47%% more cost, nope still no Nikon victory!
An I am a Pentax shooter, so I have no agenda in this debate.

I don't know if you see my comment earlier, but when I phoned the London
Camera Exchange yesterday to ask about a D3, they told me they were
getting a used one in. Apparently a lot of people have swapped their
D3's for D700's because of the size. Personally I found the D3 felt
better in my hands than the D700.
