Anyone who thinks that the party apparatchiki or
public service ran Howard's agenda has rocks in their head! B^D

He had their nuts in his grubby little paw!

Hollowmen is almost funny, but predictable, however there is no
doubt that Howard set the political agenda for a decade.

The public service was emasculated and politicised,
full of yes men and forelock-tuggers, quite incapable
of giving 'frank and fearless' advice.

And under Rudd they can only manage the odd damaging leak.

Hollowmen rings hollow and lacks the bite of Chasers
War.
