It's pleasing to note that, as a result of its successful campaign,
Radio Labor has largely dropped its political commentary of the past
year or two and has gone back to more secular and interesting topics.
This evening, for example, Steve Austin invited his fans to phone in
and comment on the "undersizing" trend in products sold in Oz -- that
is the trend to reducing product quantity while maintaining prices.
(Such as the reduction of the traditional beer stubbie from 375 ml to
the now common 330 ml in those suave little dildo bottles.)
However, it seems his same silly socialist fans are still keen to
flaunt their quaint little attitudes in public. Such as the young
lady who phoned in to say that, as a University student who had to
watch her budget carefully, she had noticed -- because she was more
thirsty than usual -- that her preferred water supply had reduced in
volume by 20 ml as a consequence of a redesigned bottle shape.
Jesus wept! The girl is watching her pennies and she's *buying* water
to drink at 50c or more per litre rather than drinking from the town
supply for free! (Okay, okay, not quite *free* if she has to pay the
water meter charges herself -- let's round it off to 0.1c/L.)

I hear Chris Masters of 4 Corners is in town making a doco in Qld - The
subject is 20 years after Fitzgerald.
The stupid arrogant fool is going to look preety stupid when the Heiner
Affair bursts onto the scene in the new year.
After all when you look at the facts - the new Goss ALP government in March,
1990, just four months in office committed a serious criminal offence and
then preceeded to cover-up their crime and pervert Qld's whole justice
system and system of public administration.
Masters was gtiven this story as far back as 1993 and his lame excuse was
that he was still in court over The Mooblight State.
The Heiner Affair will eventually expose Masters for what he is - just a one
eyed show pony.
I will enjoy looking back on his great doco after the Heiner Affair hits the
fan in the new year.
