I love the new Liberal slogan "Go For A Growth"
Because right there, on Howard's shoulders,
they have grown one!
---------
Prime Minister Rip Van Winkle;
"Well, I don't, I, I, I, I don't know. I, I mean, I, I "
- John Howard asked about his plans.
Sure John we will all just go get a coffee while
you find your mind and then make it up! B^D

"After a successful few years as a junior minister in
Malcolm Fraser's government, Howard was promoted to
treasury, where his five years in the job can only
be judged as an unmitigated failure.
Take a look at the statistics.

Howard wants to concentrate on his success his economic leadership.
According to Reserve Bank of Australia, Australian per capita GDP growth
is higher than that of New Zealand, US, Canada and Netherlands.

Take out the resources sector boom, which he had nothing to do with, and
it's a different story.
Howard is great at taking credit for things he has nothing to do with, but
denies responsibility for anything negative, like interest rates being
higher than most of the western world.

Untrue.
1. The resource sector boom is largely driven by demand from China, and
Howard has invested a great deal of time and effort helping ensure we are
their preferred supplier.
2. We had very strong economic growth before the resource sector boom.

But it was Labor who really got that trade going in the first place!

And he certainly didn't start that either. His results on trade agreements
with the USA were particularly dismal though.
Just ask the farmers what they think! Even the Nationals are totally pissed
with Johnny's efforts.

So? You said that Howard has had nothing to do with the resources boom in
Australia. Clearly he has.
