"Costello opens door for Turnbull challenge"

Ho Hum another defective the Lieberals have already rejected
as leader dug up and warmed up for a run! B^D

"Malcolm Turnbull could mount a challenge for the Liberal Party
leadership as early as next week after Peter Costello confirmed
he had no interest in taking the job."

Costello has warned the Lieberal's Cargo Cult mentality,
waiting for some Sky God to descend and save them, "what he
describes as it's 'cult of the leader' that developed in the
Howard era".. must be overcome.. and he is too embittered
and broken to try and be their next Messiah.

"As the news about Mr Costello's intentions sank in among colleagues,
federal Opposition Leader Brendan Nelson reiterated that he was not
going anywhere."

The polls agree! B^D

At least there is no danger of a Cult of Personality
with Brenda.. he is such a Windsock he doesn't have one!

Senator Minchin said he expected Mr Turnbull would continue
to be a team player."

Yep, he's as good at choking back his bile and resentment
as NoNuts Costello was for years of blind, unthinking,
unquestioning obedience to a devious little rodent whose
dishonesty he describes graphically:

'he is certain that if re-elected as prime minister last year,
Mr Howard would have gone back on his public understanding
to hand over the reins after the election"

So Costello is clearly calling Howard devious, lying, false,
without integrity or honesty, or loyalty..

Who could support such a moral defective? And yet Costello
willingly did, even pretending to be a 'team'. B^p
They are both unprincipled liars.

Punters rushed to back the treasury spokesman to lead the
party to the next election, with Sportingbet Australia odds
shortening his odds from $2.20 to 1.50.

Dr Nelson eased from $2.50 to $3.50 after Mr Costello's
decision became known.

In his memoirs to be released next week, Mr Costello
blames former prime minister John Howard for the
coalition's election thumping last year.

He writes Janette Howard held more sway with her husband
than cabinet."

Strange, given that Costello gave him more, and better,
sex than Janette ;-)

Mr Howard, who is also tipped to write a book, refused to
bite back when he was approached by journalists on his
morning walk near his Sydney home today.

He can't argue with the truth.. he is a devious, untrustworthy
fraud and liar.

Former Liberal Party figure, South Australian millionaire
Bob Day, is named in Mr Costello's memoirs as the second man,
as well as former Liberal MP Ian McLachlan, who knew of a
leadership deal with Mr Howard before the coalition won power.

He slammed Mr Howard today for breaking his word that
if the Liberal Party won the 1996 election, he would
stand aside for Mr Costello after a term and a half.

"John Howard took me by the arm and he said to me `this
is how it will go, Bob, I will take over the leadership
and if we win the next election then mid-way through our
second term I will step aside and hand over to Peter Costello',"
Mr Day told ABC Radio."

This is the lying, disloyal Rodent who Costello was
afraid to speak out against and challenge.. he claims it
was 'loyalty' not 'fear'.. but how could he bend over
to such a moral defective.. a real leader would have
stood up to him, won support and taken the leadership...

"I was very disappointed that John Howard had not stepped
down and given Peter Costello the opportunity to lead
the party and create some new momentum."

The tories are all a disappointing bunch of Rudderless
rabble...

Frontbencher Tony Abbott lamented the former treasurer's
decision,

I love it when Tony Maggot does crocodile tears;

" most of all I'm disappointed for Peter, because I think
he will live forever with this haunting sense of what
might have been," he told ABC television."
