Poor old Pete looked completely stumped when asked on the Insiders
to back up the Liberals FALSE claim that 70%% of the ALP front
bench were Union Officials! He couldn't do it 8^o
Instead he was shot down on National TV. Caught out lying!!!!!
HE faltered on the first name checked "When was Wayne Swan
a union official and for what union"
HE waffled and blustered and then weakly claimed he had
been a union MEMBER.. not an official"
The next name.. ditto! B^D
Apparently under the LIES spread by tory class-war propaganda,
if you are one of the MILLIONS who have been a union MEMBER,
INCLUDING COSTELLO HIMSELF, you are not entitled to stand for,
and be elected to the Australian parliament.
Watch out for WORCKCHOICES III if Herr Costello and his
Brownshirtlifters are re-elected!

Why do you become so defensive about someone being a union official?
What's wrong with being a union official?
Perhaps you should be thanking the Libs for annointing the Labor front bench
with more status than they have actually achieved.

Barry was absolutley put in his place.
He looked like a scared rabit after Big Nuts costello sorted him out.
I wish they would apply the same blow torch to KRUDD. He'd piss him

Are you aware that Tony Abbot was a union official who actually
organised a strike?

And Costello was a member of an avowedly 'Anti-Capitalist' group.
(Many business leaders impatient with the lack of ideas in the Howard
government think he may still be a part of that group! ;-)
No wonder the country is in such a state, the front bench
is packed with Marxists and Radicals! ;-)
Costello estimates it at 70%% control!
But then, his figures are often dodgy vapourware! BWAAAHAHAHAAHAAAAAA!
If you really want to see what a Red looks like.. Rupert Murdoch!
Kept a bust of Lenin in his digs at Oxford. B^D
