What a friggin' laugh! Was anyon else listening to ABC Regional Radio
tonight (15/16 Jul 2008) from after midnight until ... ? [I gave up.]

It was interesting. I had been meaninmg to ask in sci.physics how
come FM propagation was so much quicker than AM; but tonight the ABC
somehow managed to have *both* "channels" broadcasting over the FM
system for at least 50 minutes (as I said, I gave up).

It was hilarious -- everything was repeated after about 1 to 1.5
second delay!

Clearly *no one* was alive at the studio to detect the problem and
correct it, it just went on and on and on. It finally ceased to be
funny and became just plain boring and effin' *irritating* as a
demonstration of public service incompetence.

Why are we paying these incompetents and drones to do this to us?

Time to sell the lot off -- though god knows if anyone would be silly
enough to buy such a broken system. (But then, I suppose the physical
network itself would be useful -- as long as you could get rid of the
useless droids and drones currently populating it!)
