This site, being already read by thousands of people all over the
world, helps us to understand how Satan tries, on one hand, to induce
the man to commit the evil, on the other, to stand himself hidden and
to make him believe that he doesn’t exist.
But he is there !!
That’s why we must be always vigilant because, in the final moment of
our life, he should not present himself to grab our soul.

Who'd want to be a teacher nowadays? If it means being on short-term
contract, and blamed for everything wrong in the system?
"Teacher quality" is considered a key factor, it seems, but if a person
will try every other occupation first, then why complain if you end up with
"the dregs"?
"It's all the workers fault" - is a common cry from the business sector,
which likes to be feather-bedded when it comes to climate change. Do as I
say, not do as I do.
Then there's the hot-house atmosphere of forced ingestion of data; the
competitive nature of modern education - the churning out of meal-tickets
from brain-factories.
And who wants to stand up, like a lion-tamer, before a bunch of brats,
all trying to find a chink in your armour? No, there are easier ways to
earn a living.
Public versus Private schools? The USA may have many faults, but it has
maintained Separation of Church and State where schools are concerned. If
you want to create a private school, then do so at your own expense.
Unlike in Australia, where Bob Menzies cynically adopted State Aid to
Denominational Schools as a plank of party policy - and the ALP was obliged
to follow suit. A victory for Catholic Action, and the DLP. ...

Seems another State primary school has been destroyed by fire, this time at
Mt Waverley, Vic, and arson is suspected - as the fire started in two
places.
How to stop arson attacks?
One method might be to install a 2-metre high wire fence, topped with
razor-wire, around the perimeter.
Another could be location of sensor-lights, and video cameras, in the
eaves of each school, with a direct link to local police station.
Or, have a few savage dogs patrolling the grounds at night. If they are
gnawing on bones, come morning, you know you had visitors.
Or - all of the above.
Why do schools get targeted by arsonists?
(1) It could be some teenagers, out for a bit of fun.
(2) In the case of high schools, it might be a disgruntled student seeking
revenge, after teacher spoke crossly, or gave him a bad grade.
(3) In the case of State primary schools, it might be religious zealots
destroying those hot beds of vice, depravity, and paganism.
Whatever the motive, and whoever does it, the main thing is that it should
cease - and cost of installing safeguards is less than rebuilding a whole
school. ...

Grim forecasts as Murray-Darling Basin hits new low

THE once mighty Murray-Darling is now little more than a creek.
The Murray-Darling Basin Commission yesterday revealed that June
inflows to the parched river system were the lowest on record.
Just 95 gigalitres flowed into the system last month, down from the
previous low of 106 gigalitres in June 2006.
The average is 680 gigalitres.

Cardinal George Pell's consummate ease with sexual vocabulary of
consensual and non-consensual nature in the handling of media
speculation over the alleged sexual misconduct by a priest, is to be
applauded.
Its also really good news about the recent birth of Sunday-Rose to
Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban, following the divorce to Tom Cruise and
two adopted kids.
That Cruise is remarried and has a child to his new wife.
And Kidman is remarried and has a child her own.
So was her re-marriage in a Catholic Church of Sydney due to an
annulment of the former marriage because of lack of consummation,
barrenness or because the wedding was conducted by an ecclesiastical
jurisdiction unrecognized by the Churc

Everyone should be excited, when we partner with moderate
Muslim leadership to provide education in communities
where people cannot afford it, we deprive the Wahabists
of creating politically extremist madrassas, (because that
is the only access some villagers have to education for their kids!).
Replace Saudi money and buy freedom from fundie indoctrination
for millions of Muslim kids! Taught properly, Islam creates
decent, peaceful communities.
Smarter than War!!!
If you think education is expensive, consider the cost of ignorance.
Salaam and shalom!

Aussie Lounge, ( http://www.aussielounge.com.au ) the free social
networking site just for Australian travellers has finally been launched
to allow Australians to connect with fellow Australians around the
world.
For those users familiar with social networking sites such as MySpace
and Facebook, Aussie Lounge ( www.aussielounge.com.au) provides users
with a similar ease of use functionality and networking and all at no
cost, with free membership and full access to the site.
Creating your account is easy and simple with most of the questions
easily skipped. Once you create your account, you'll receive a
verification email about 10 minutes later to activate your account and
then you're good to go.
Aussie Lounge is primarily targeted at connecting Australians with other
Australians all over the world (although does not restrict users of
other nations), and the idea is for Australians where-ever they are to
comment about where they are, what they like about the place they're in,
travel tips and any interesting facts about the place.
