It should but it doesn't.
It's a *very* astmatic engine that makes a lot of noise but not much else.

They're chalk and cheese apart. Even the old GenIII shat all over the Ford
modular V8 from a great height.
I've got a mate who lives in Alice Springs who bought a 6.2 litre SS Commy a
few months ago, and he tells me it averages just under 10 litres per 100km/s
at 190 km/h :)
