I have a year 2000 VT Series II Commodore and the Airbag fault lamp and
alarm comes on every morning when outside temperature is less than 8
degrees. The alarm goes away after about 3 minutes.
This behaviour started about 12 months ago, but it is only occurs on
cold days and started playing up again up within the past 4 weeks (when
Melbourne started getting cold again). Any ideas what is wrong and how
to fix?

My 2000 Astra has stopped squirting - there appears to be a blockage
somewhere betwen the reservoir and the jets. I've tried
unsuccessfully to clear with needles and fine wire. I wonder if
there's some chemical I can add to the reservoir which could dissolve
the blockage?

I'm checking out a couple of 75 series Cruisers tomorrow morning, both
(presumably) still have 2H diesels. Apart from the obvious (such as test
driving them), does anyone know of anything to look out for with the 2H?
Any common problems these engines are prone to and if so, any way to
check visually without resorting to pulling them apart?

I suppose ditto for the rest of the drive train as well ...

Although I haven't driven one for nearly 15 years, I used to drive them
daily for many years, so any odd noises etc should be easy for me to
pick up on (I hope!)
