if the 7L z06 is not fast enough, try this. Scary thing is it comes from the
GM factory.

  Weird question?

If driving and hit a 'roo without vehicle damage (ie:
bullbar so you would not have a broken vehicle to worry
about instead). Would you pick up the road kill and eat
it? or feed it to your Dawgs.

Something on TV gave me the idea.

Certainly would not leave a rotting traffic hazzard
on the road. 'roo meat is healthy and tastes good.

I've only killed a 'roo once with the 'lux, and didn't
think about it at the time. If I hit one again, I'd
be tempted.

When you think about it, can't get anything fresher.

{now watching an African lion show which made me think about
it again}

Why is the supply of E85 fuel so tightly controlled?

Author: Saab C900 Viggenist

Last night I met up with the person who has the very first 2008-built MY08
Saab 9-3 BioPower car sold in Australia. That car has the capability to run
on ethanol blend fuels up to 85 percent ethanol (aka E85), however I was
very amazed when he was telling about how E85 can't be purchased from the
small number of outlets that stock it around Australia without 'registering'
on a federal government database, and service stations that do have it will
deliberately lie when you ask them about it if your vehicle is not
registered in this database!

The price of E85 at the outlet he buys from in Forrestville (Sydney) is
A$1.05 per litre at present (I guess it does vary a little over time). The
only reason I could think of for why it's being so tightly regulated is that
there are exclusive agreements in place with Manildra Corp for supply of the
ethanol going into the fuel mixture, and that the government has basically
removed it's excise (which accounts for a large degree of the much lower
price) as a 'sweetener' to big business and government departments to
kick-start the interest in high-concentration ethanol blend fuels in Oz.

Does anyone know any more about this?

Smacks immediately of an Australian federal government 'approved' cartel
arrangement with Manildra Corp!

Listening to the Beenleigh Police and heard them mention a motorbike
passing them at a speed of 300kph on their Lidar, they were about to
give chase when the pillion fell off the bike, apparently the Pillion is
not in a very good condition

  Jailed for speeding?? C'mon...

Author: David Z

Saw the article on the guy who was jailed for going 255 km/h and thought it
was outrageous. What harm did he do that justified going behind bars?
Absolutely none. A huge fine would more than suffice, IMO. Remember the
Seinfeld episode where Elaine argues that there can be degrees of
coincidence, and the woman says there are no big coincidences or small
coincidences, only coincidences. I think the same goes for speeding.
You're either speeding or you're not. I also think it's pointless
suspending his license for 5 years. Seriously, has anyone who has ever had
their license suspended *not* driven? It's a pretty much unenforceable
punishment.
