How much did you pay for a 200L drum of ethanol and where did you get
it?

You can reply to my CBA work email address if you want.

New Government watchdog on fuel prices

Author: RogerM
Date: Apr 15, 2008 17:00

So we are going to be able to get daily SMS messages advising us of the best
"local" retail fuel price in our relevant areas. The concept sounds great,
but in practical terms, this is going to be a nightmare.

The potential is there for retailers to either "get together" which is
illegal, or the one better for the consumer would be that most will want to
be on the "cheapest" list, so this may cause some price reductions amongst
the big oil companies.

Also, there will be a rush by the 55c SMS text message companies to jump on
the bandwagon too. I guess at the end of the day, the Government can't be
accused of not trying something different.

I understand this is already happening in WA so perhaps some from WA can
pass comment on if it is good or other.

I take it you can't afford one then.

Venemous bile aside you're quite right about the car's specifications, it
isn't an off road 4x4. More a roadgoing station wagon that you can take
down to the beach occasionally.

Looks like someone listened to my suggestion about fuel pricing. I submitted
that fuel cos. declare their prices for the week some time ago to the ACCC.
One day ahead isnt as good as 1 week but its a start. :)
