Old Larry of GM is sugesting that the usa build a massive nuclear
plant in a secure area to make hydrogen?
Here's a news flash Larry - A small nuclear plant - cough ! would be
sufficient if cars used the electricty directly - as in plug in
chargable electric cars.
Just when I thought GM had it's act together with the VOLT e-flex
drive train program.
Larry baby comes out another alternative B.S.
Larry doesn't seem to understand how much energy is wasted in
making / transporting hydrogen fuel.
I't a bl**dy inefficient process.
It's just more crap to keep the status quo & dam inefficient aka
Ethanol production.
At least in Australia we can drive on LPG - Direct LPG injection
should be a very viable option now .....

I'm having an argument with someone. This person claims that if you had
repairs done on a car using 'grey import' parts, such as door panels for
instance, which may or may not meet Australian design rules, and the next
owner buys the car and has an accident say, involving a serious injury,
could this all come back to the original owner? To be more specific: let's
say the original owner purchased said panel at a wrecker's yard, and then
took it a panel beater to get it installed. The owner does mention to the
buyer that the panel was replaced, but no further information is given or
known (I.e. whether or not it was a genuine part or not). I say that being
a private sale, you buy a car 'as is', and therefore accept the condition
the car is in when you buy it. Can anyone give some...

Top of the list... anything front wheel drive.
Reason... cos I've never learned to drive the rotten things properly
and whenever I've tried they've exhibited some very peculiar handling
characteristics (failure to go around corners being among the worst).
Besides which, most of 'em positively hate unsealed roads.
Question: Should a separate licence be required to drive one? ;-)

It makes me laugh to read our silly Premier Blighe, and useless Police
Minister Judy Spence, and police Commisioner Atkinson cry foul about our
rising Road Toll, and that Police are cracking down.
But the same Government, does not have a problem with allowing Radio
Stations to warn speeding drivers of Police Radar locations, allows an
Insurance company to operate to protect speeding drivers from losing their
licences, and paying them $1000 a month to cover expenses, and finally a
silly government that allows dangerous hoons 3 chances at killing someone
before they lose their cars.
What a Hyprocrite government we have.
