Other issues aside (and there's plenty of those) to name a car by a
meaningless number has to be a portent for disaster. Which they might
even have averted had they called it the Galant 3800!

They shoulda learnt from that other great Australian lemon... the P76.
The joke at the time was it should've been named the P38 -- because it
was only half a car.

To add a 0 simply adds to the joke.

Then to try to save the situation by bringing out a Gold, Silver,
Bronze, or even a Platinum Edition just goes to show how out of touch
they really are. They might as well have called it the Ferrous Oxide
Special!

Either we're working with different meanings for "autonomy" (I'm in
favour of quite a bit of it for humanity) or you meant that *he*
wanted autnomy for himself, which I'll grant.

Oh yeah. *huge* difference.

Slightly stiffer shocks and springs transform it from a beached whale to a
rubber dingy.

The last "count" I heard was 60 million under his reign. Total dead
(military and civilian) from WWII was estimated at 50 million.

Two workmates own Ford Explorer V8s. They've never had any problems with
them, other than one of them had an overheating problem for a while, but
was resolved with new head gaskets.
