Only problem with that is that if you took a taxi everywhere, you'd

According to that link, my car's costing me $289.52 a week.

Not surprising, really; it's been cheaper to take a taxi or hire a car
since the 1970s at least. Given the savage depreciation and high
maintenance costs on cars these days, I suspect things are much worse
now.
Not that many people care. They go out of their way to ignore
depreciation and don't even know what 'opportunity cost' is. As long
as they can drive 3 km to the servo and back for a litre of milk,
that's all that matters.

Hi,
A mate of mine has a 2 door hardtop VG Pacer.
We are try to find out how many of the 2 door hardtop VG Pacers were
manufactured.
On a number of web site that note that 46,374 VG Valiant's' were
built.
Is there any way of finding out more details of the 46,374 cars built?
Thanks, Matt.

this morning i heard the new police commissioner talking on 2GB [SKIPPY]
what a joke if you think uncle ted is bad wait till skippy takes
over.
and listeners were ringing in saying hoon drivers were using 2way
radios to alert speeding drivers when the coast was clear to start the
race down the great western highway.
A highway patrol officer rang in and told Allan jones that all patrol
cars ceased operations at midnight and after that it was a clear go for
all.

GSM mobile phone tracking system via the GPS-TRACK satellite network.
Based on repeater triangulation, the system
tracks mobile phones using GPS and GSM technology.

Hi all,
On my way to work near the city this morning, I exited the Monash
Freeway at 5:30am to turn left at Toorak Rd. The boom gates at the
train line were down, and apparently stuck as traffic from both
directions was crossing the 1 meter wide concrete median strip (which
was only possible because it has those smoothly sloped gutters) then
crossing the train line.
I was aware that around this time the train was due to pass, so it
occurred to me to stop once I reached the tracks to make sure the train
wasn't coming. I'm sure some other people wouldn't be so careful. In
hindsight, I should not have attempted to cross the train line at all as
visibility was not good enough.
About 30 metres from the crossing, on the bridge over the freeway, there
were some men with high visibility jackets so I assume they were trying
to fix the signals but they weren't anywhere near the train line to
direct the traffic.
