You may very well be right. I didn't look into it because I'm on a
motorbike and virtually never carry a pillion, so it's not applicable in my case.

I'm lucky to actually _drive_ a car once every 2-3 months, and a short trip
at that.

Bloke at the end of my street has one of the crew cab ute thingy's, and he
loves it. Traded a couple year old Hi-lux on the thing and recons it's
great. I drove it a few months ago and and the only impression it left on me
was that it was incredibly gutless.

Then again it was a diesel auto....

Some are.

Hyundai currentlty make a car as good as any in their class, Daewoo & Kia
are a lng way behind. SSangYong have a bit of a mixed reputation in that
people who buy them seem happy, but then they're likely to be the same types
of people who would buy a Alfa and seem happy too.

Friend of mine has a Korean ride and thinks the absolute world of it.
Smooth, comfortable, and yet with great handling, does whatever is asked
with no problems

She's a good cook too.
