The December specials that just finished allowing SS utes for sale for
less than $34k drive away has to be the all time bargain for any new
car buyer. (particularly holden card owners who received a further $3k

The ridiculous part, is how much did it alienate those that had paid
over $40k just 1 month earlier for the same car.

The purpose is to release the new gen V8s with their "Displacement on
Demand" software upgrade, without having any of the old gen left.

BUT this upgrade is not available on Autos and all older VE V8s can
have this software upgrade made at an aftermarket tuning shop.

I wonder if bargains like this hurt the industry rather than help.
