"Nov. 12 (Bloomberg) -- Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, the
Saudi billionaire who is Citigroup Inc.'s biggest individual
investor, agreed to buy a $319 million Airbus A380
superjumbo, becoming the first private customer for the
world's biggest aircraft.
The purchase was announced by Toulouse, France-based Airbus
at the Dubai Air Show today. Alwaleed, ranked the world's
13th-richest person by Forbes magazine, flew in from Saudi
Arabia on his Boeing Co. 747. Fitting out the A380's
interior may cost `several hundred million,' Airbus said. "

So when did the A380 get bigger than the An-225?
Cheers

No-one owns an An-225 as a private jet.

I thought we knew that. The question was about the relative sizes of a
A380 and a AN-225.

MGTOW 540t for the A380 is 640t for the An-225. While not heavier, the
Spruce Goose had a wider wingspan than both.

Or whacko capitalist planes apparently. The Spruce Goose was physically
bigger than the A380 but considerably lighter.
Cheers

Was that an aircraft? I thought it was a ground effect machine.
